OFB XVII: Late Writings, 1620-1626

Volume XVII of the Oxford Francis Bacon will include Bacon’s last non-philosophical writings, starting with the 1620-21 Parliament, covering his dramatic fall from grace and power the spring of 1621, and the subsequent quinquennium of exile, in which Bacon wrote many of his natural philosophical works, while constantly angling for a return to political life.
